Let’s see, in 2007, I was 50. So I got mine at 50 Petunia Girl like you apparently. I had worked for over 30 years.
Well, age-wise you'd be in a good position with SSDI, tricky, if you need to apply for SSDI.
Isn't it odd how you can work for years and years and then suddenly BLAMMO this p!sser comes outta nowhere?
Yes, that Letter to Normals. Where is the link?
I got mine in 2007.
Absolutely agree with respondents. You need to focus on yourself and do not feel obligated to others. It’s sad that people are so ignorant to this illness. Take care of yourself and all of the very best. Naz1439
Geeze I just gave my dog a bath , well shower. no bath to use. I am on vacation at my kids house in vermont and just one dog is kicking my rear. Evidently Vermont poop is very special and needs rolled in. I know when my 24 year old kid comes home and says what did you do all day and I say cleaned the kitchen and washed the dog she will give me that look.
Take it as a compliment your ex boss, wants to make things easier for you and thinks you are great at haircuts. I would tell her that If I am able to return to work I will contact her, and then just give up on explaining it to her. People will only understand if they have been though it. I look fine and healthy but I am impressed that I cleaned granite and took apart a really cool stove today, and showered my dog in a very upscale shower.
Congrats on having a hubby that does get it.
Lol! I'm a hairdresser, no one get's it, they can't see it on us. We don't have spots. If they had ever experienced a chronic condition then they would get it. My family, treated me like I was lazy. Then I got cancer, so now fibro is real to them. I received a second cancer as well, and I firmly believe that with each serious illness I get that the fibro get's worse. It hurts that people don't understand. I have a neighbor who has fibro, but she is normal with taking herbs she gets from her natural care doctor. I take herbs and eat organically also. It has done amazing things for me but I am in no way as healthy as her. So I think some people judge me by her, there's nothing we can do about it really. I do know that there is a fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue symposium every year in Salt Lake City Ut. It is really good, you connect with others like you. There are chairs everywhere, and even rooms with beds for those who need to lay down. One day of it is for people with one or both of these illnesses and their families, the 2nd day is for doctors and those who are in the health care field. The Dr. that runs it, her whole practice is these two illnesses. Her sister had chronic fatigue and passed away from it. This is why Linda Bateman became a dr . She has DVD's that your family and friends can watch that really help, plus a whole bunch of information. You receive a folder. If anyone is interested I will post the information about it when it comes time. I'm so sorry for what you have been there, we all get it. I have people who tell my daughter I'm just lazy, if they only knew. I believe in Karma, and know that what goes around, comes around. HA HA Tracie
