Would Anyone Like to Be a Volunteer Moderator?

Hi Everyone - hope you are enjoying site. We set it up so folks could connect and share info and support. The network is really what you make it and it's growing really nicely. I can see lot's of love and support happening here on a daily basis.

Most of you probably know that Ben's Friends (www.bensfriends.org) runs this group and we run 34 other sites just like it. We have 80,000 patients and loved ones logging on every month to find support.

A big part of providing support and having a great network is having a few dedicated Moderators. In the early days this involves greeting people when they join and spreading the word on Facebook and blogs about the site.

Does anyone want to volunteer? We'd love to have your help. We can have another Ben's Friends Moderator train and help you out. And you can always ask me questions. :)

I would be interested I have been a greeter of new members for several months and have been plagued with fibro for 20+ yrs so I no the pain the fatige the isolation the attitude that people with fibro have to endure I am a people peron I am Australian but I lived and worked as an emergency room nurse in the USA, I now live back in Australia and am a full time advocate for fibro for the people who are to battered and scared to have a voice anymore.

Lovet, it is amazing to see the dedicated members of this community stepping forward like you and others have done. Even a new person to these forums could easily find how attentive and supportive you have been to this community. Hope to see that Mod logo on your pic soon too. :)

No I would be honored to be a moderater and I would dedicate my time as I am a big time advocate for people with fibro and I have been a greeter and got many kind and very touching reply from people who I have I have made to feel welcomed and safe in this group, but I am not a moderater and would like the oppertunity to help those that may be struggling and those who just want someone to listen
