My #1 New Year wish (and prayer) would be for my little brother to come to Christ!
That would make my year, heck.... my decade!
So many things..... but I'd have to say my biggest wish is to be 100% healthy, and everything else will fall into line after that.

Can’t argue that one! I pray for all of our good health.
I wish I could ride a bike again, or run, or not have to be helped to go up stairs, or have help getting to the bathroom, or not have to walk with a cane, out be able to roughhouse with my niece. Or not bring judged when I’m out in public walking with a cane/ electric scooter (I’m 20). People just assume the nastiest things along with judging looks and comments. I just wish my youth wasn’t taken away ary the age of 8.

Therene, I would have to say that anyone who would judge you for using a cane or electric scooter is quite a piece of work.
I'm just so floored reading of all that you're missing at your young age. From the bottom of my heart, I'm sorry that you and the other young people on here have this illness.
I can't think of anything to say beyond that. I wish good health for you, hopefully at some not too distant point in the future.

I’m just reading your post and I’m appalled to think of insensitive, ignorant people that judge you for using a cane or scooter! It makes me feel sad to think that your youth was robbed at age 8. I pray for your health and happiness. I’m glad you found this site where you can meet people who understand.

To see your sunflower icon without imagining that it's talking, and the round brown part is the face, the yellow petals the hair...I sometimes get quite the giggle out of imagining a giant talking sunflower being you!
I wrote this before reading the comment you made above but want to keep it on to make you smile.
Oh shoot, Sunny, is the treatment that brutal? You've given me the chills by saying that. I hope you're not suffering that much or are that weakened from the treatment? Or are you?
I hope you live through it too, earnestly and wholeheartedly. You should be getting major brownie points for figuring it out and getting (late) treatment, not lousy treatment (from the illness) for the price of uncovering it.
