Thanks so much for your support. Things hopefully, will get better now, last night he said he was sorry. I asked him, "for what?", and he said, "being grumpy". So I let it all out, how lonely I am, and he's not the only one tired and in pain, etc. So I hope he will keep talking, because the dogs and I are running out of topics. :) Hugs , Charlie
Charlie, that was a huge step last evening for him to say he was sorry. Now the door is open for communication Don't push it, don't dump the whole load on him every day or he will stop talking to you. Go easy.
Good. I hope the communication continues to flow freely. You're both lonely and tired and in pain, so share it with each other. Help one another out, as best as you can, and best of luck to the both of you - and your nifty dog, too.
Hi Charlie, it sounds like things will get better, communicating feelings is great, maybe it can be more on a regular basis, understanding how one feels can only make things better.
Hugs & blessings

LOL, I'll try, but it's been so long since we've talked I don't know if I can hold it in. I don't mean we live in silence, it's just he only says what he has to and shuts up, we never have an actual conversation. He's my only friend and I've missed him. hugs, Charlie :)
