Back from my 2 week detox

Hi all,

I got back this week from my 2 week detox in Thailand.

It was really hard going for the first few days. Juice for breakfast, fruit smoothie for lunch and vegetable soup for dinner. No snacks, no wheat, no dairy. Everything was organic and fresh, with lots of water and herbal tea in-between. Lots of natural supplements, like apple cider vinegar, flax seeds, coconut oil.

I walked on the beach, did water aerobics, a bit of yoga, had a full body massage everyday. I also had coffee colema (colonic) everyday and 2 liver flushes (1 a week) , which were horrible but I felt great after wards.

After two days, although I was achy from exercise (and a hard bed) I didn't have any of my usual sharp pains in my body. First time in 10 years i've gone more than a few days without pain. Maybe lack of stress, healthier food, lack of wheat and dairy, more sun (vit D). Or maybe combination of all?????

What ever the reason, I feel great, I lost 1 stone in weight, no pain, (just normal aching) my skin looks better, the white of my eyes are white, lots more energy.

I'm definitely going to stay away from wheat and dairy (just the occasional treat) and stick to more fruit and veggies. I'm going to do water aerobics twice a week and yoga once a week.

Overall it was a great experience, it certainly made me appreciate good food more, and another plus is that my husband and daughter are doing more around the house too :)

xoxo

Gosh, OMG, I don't know how you managed to do all of this and even feel better! I'm...stunned, lol! All of that exercise! And you feel good! Okay, that's just great. I'm so happy for you! I'm glad it worked out so well. It sounds like it really did you a world of wonder.

Please keep us updated on how you continue to do with steering clear of wheat and dairy, along with doing the exercises. I'm very interested on hearing your updates.

Welcome back!!

Wishing you sunshine and orange juice,

Petunia

Sounds like you got some great all round results! So glad to hear it! You are most deserving of these good things! Glad you were able to go, but also glad to have you back with us!

Holy Cow… Omg… I understand colonic, but did I read that right coffee ??
sounds like a slice of heaven, next time you go call me I would do it !!! I’m on a gluten free diet & the dairy is next,
although I’d have to prob sell my car to be able to afford it lol
So glad you had a positive experience !!!
Hugs & blessings

Good luck dee with the diet, I’m researching it now for my sisters!!

Don't sell the car dee, even though you are pretty enough to get rides 'hitch hiking', it is NOT recommended!

Just get the enema bag and the folgers! LOL!!

Ok, that’s one picture I didn’t need to have in my head! LMAO.

SK, you heard rom Petunia? It seems like she has been missing for a while.

She was on earlier, and she's on right now!

Where do you find this stuff????? HA!!

You know back in the dark ages, when I got up for work, I'd put on the 'Today show', Janet Jackson was on telling Katie how much she loved her coffee enemas, and was oohin and aahing about them, and how stimulating they were! I laughed until I was breathless! Had Katie been holding a microphone, she would have swallowed it!

Now I have heard, not done, just heard of the wine enemas!

As a kid, everytime one of us got sick, we got an enema, soap suds one! I hope to hell I never need another one, I take Spectrazyme, probiotics, and oat bran, does the trick for me, you girls can have those enemas, I'll just pass! I don't even drink coffee, ick! I like my tea, but want to drink it! ha!

I don’t know how I missed her. Guess I wasn’t paying much attention cuz now I see all her posts. I am going to blame that one in fibro fog! LOL

I’ll take the wine enema, please! LMAO. It just seems an easier way to get a little tipsythan having to actually drink the wine and absorb all the calories. Hmmmm? I wonder if I could make money off that idea.

hi angel on earth,

omg omg omg

that made me laugh so much,

not far off reality either .......

xoxo

Thanks Petunia, it was certainly an experience, and i feel better than I have in years, which I think is due to the diet more than anything.

Hope your having a relaxing weekend xoxo

Hi SK,

I'm really glad to be back home, and really want to carry on what I've started.

how have you been? xoxo

hi Dee,

yep coffee.... it supposed to help your colon get rid of stuff? It worked ...... enough said lol

I might try and go every year, but maybe just 5 days will be enough to clear out the system, I met some people who are there for 28 days plus, I couldn't handle that...

hugz to you xoxo

lol so funny, made me laugh so much but mainly because it was a bit like that, only self administered ...... put me off coffee for a while ha ha

xoxo

Hello Aisha !!

I've been eager to see how your experience was.. thanks for posting about it! I'm so happy to hear that you're feeling better!! I can see why... that's such a great routine in every way. I'll bet alot of us would benefit from it.. I do think it's the combo of everything...

LOVE the pic of the coffee enema!! made me laugh.. even in my current state of depression. ( tell ya later).

But Kudo's to you!! Keep up the good work!! and I'm also glad to hear that Stuart and ( sorry I forget her name) your beautiful daughter appreciate you more and are doing more.

Peace & Blessings,

Shelly

I recently started doing the juice fast and coffee enemas it actually gave me enough energy to exercise (30 minutes on the treadmill). There is a video out called Fat Sick and Nearly Dead by Joe Cross. You can watch it for free on his website Fat Sick and Nearly Dead | a Joe Cross Film It is incredible! The guy doesn't wan't money he's wealthy he fasts on juice for 60 days because he has an auto immune disease and has to take Prednisone. Any way I am feeling really good as far as energy goes but I haven't weened off my medicine yet either but that in and of itself is worth it.
