Been incognito for a little while

Hello ALL Y'all!!!!! I just thought I would drop in to see how folks were doing... I am learning to manage my Fibro and MS although I cannot tell one from the other. I dread the cold months but I have come to realize that the hot summer days are just as bad for me... I am just getting over a ugly BUG.. well maybe I will be over it... this is the second round in 2 weeks... this round was worse than the first.. On a good note I found an easy way to loose weight... Now I didn't say a pleasant way....lol... I have lost 7 pounds.... easy to do when you can't keep your food down or in... whew it was rough!!! Still not eating a lot yet... taking baby steps... today I managed to eat a little white rice and some egg drop soup...was good to gain some strength back.

I have experienced 3 rounds of trigger point injections through the back of my head shoulders and upper back... I don't know why I keep getting those things done... but I guess I am just grasping for some relief anyway I can get it... Yeah those things are not pleasant...My MS treatment has been changed to Tysabri... so far so good... I guess... again I can't decipher MS from Fibro... so I guess one can say I have the best treatment I can get ...

I am learning to find peace in myself with my diagnoses... I stopped trying to find answers and began to focus more on a quality life. I researched all I could...Both no cure so all I had left to do was to accept what I have and make sure that I do what I need to do to have the best life I can have...

I hope EVERYONE is doing well and getting the best care you can...

HUGGGGS, Belinda

Hello Belinda,

How good it is to hear from you again, and you still so upbeat.! You are an inspiration. Like you, I do believe we can waste too much energy trying to find answers, and need to focus on quality of life. At the moment there are no answers for these 2 tricky conditions. It must be diffcult with the MS as well, so if your injections help, then why not. I wish you well

Take care, Anne

Good to hear from you. Trigger point injections sound painful but they must be worth it. Sorry to hear your method of weight loss. I discovered some years ago that it was the humidity I had a problem with in the summer and controlling it with a.c. seems to help. I don't garden as much as I did in the past. I hope your current treatment improves your health.

Hi, Belinda.

It's so difficult to tell what's Fibro and what's another condition given the range of symptoms with Fibro, but as you've realized you're receiving the best treatment regardless. It's great you've embraced letting go and focusing on quality of life. I found that to be one of the biggest hurdles.

Hugs!
