Actually, now that i think of it, the top of my spine, where it attaches to the neck, has always burned, as has my left shoulder. That's been my "normal" for both areas forever. And the muscles there are incredibly tight. Maybe it was fibro all along? That's why I love these discussions. They make you really think and sometimes you come up with something significant.
I have some of that. Bought it recently, will have to give it another go. Thanks for the reminder. Ah, and baclofen for tightness, another good reminder!
My daughter Ayme, 20 years old, suffers daily with this... she has had this for 8 years.... the doctors don't know what causes it.... she was diagnosed with syringomyelia in 2010.... and it's a mild case so they can't do surgery.... because it would be like finding a needle in a haystack..... She's had fibromyalgia for about 7 years... but was not diagnosed with it until about 5 years ago... I, too, have fibromyalgia... I've had it for 14 years - ever since my car accident.... Also, my mother suffers with it, as well as my mother's sister.... I do believe it runs in the family....
