Well on 2-18 my rheumatology looked at my little toe and saw it was i had a infection, gave me levofloxacin , could not take them called him back he then give me cephalexin take 3 times a day,went well for a day,the pain was so bad went to er on2-21,there they gave me sulfame thoxazole took one went down hill from there, started itching and all i wanted to do is sleep had to stop all drugs have to go see my family doctor as soon as i can get in,but if she had really looked at the toe maybe i would not be here,time to look for another doctor one that will do her job, but has anyone had this,and if so what worked Thanks

Glad you finally had the toe looked at, sorry to hear you have such a problem taking the antibiotics, sometimes I do too.

Hi Bet,

I hope you get into see either your family doctor, or someone ASAP. Cellulitis is NOT something that can wait. If you can't get into see anyone, I would try an Urgent Care facility, or even back to the ER.

HI SK Thanks for asking,went back too doctor she said theres nonthing else to take, me i say theres got to be something,so she gives me clindamycin hcl 300 mg, go home look it up to find out it could cause heartattack like prombles,i not do need on top of this, but on the 6 going to a foot doctor maybe he will know whats up know one thing going to find me a new doctor

Maybe even a naturalist? Holistic or naturopath? Gotta do something, that is really serious, and I'm sure it's very painful!!

Does it say what percentage of people have that reaction? Sometimes it's less than 1%, but I don't know your medical history like a Dr would. Just trying to think of options for you, my friend! Just want you better very soon!
