i know we have a lot of christians who believe in prayer. i would like you to please pray that the judge rules in my favor. i have nothing against those who dont believe in God and i hope i am not offending u in any way. its been a long 2 years waiting for this and i just want it 2 be over.
my court hearing is May 2nd at 1pm.
i really need the insurance i will get with it. i have not been able to see any specialist and the clinic i can sometimes afford will not help me with my fibro other than giving me cymbalta. i am also really wanting to get an apartment and i know that soem places will rent to u based on your income. being 30 and living at home is not great. i love being there with my mom but my stepdad can be a real jerk and all he wants is me and my brother out of the house. my mom doesnt really want me to leave cause she will kinda be alone cause my stepdad goesw to work around 4am so he is in bed around 8pm. and my mom like me is a night owl. she hates coming home from work to a house where there is no one awake to talk to or watch tv with. i dont plan on moving far i will do my best to move no more than 30 min away.
well thank u all for your support in advance. many thanks
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,
I will be praying for you to finally receive your disability as you should be. It isn't right that it's so hard for people your age to receive. I've been on it for about 8 yrs now and it was the best thing that ever happened for me. I'll be looking forward to hearing the outcome.
Good luck on this, Stephanie. I hope the clinics are willing to put together enough info to prove your case. I can only imagine how hard it must be to have fibro and not be able to see a regular doctor or specialist. At least you finally have a set date. I hope you have someone to go with you on that day? I don't think it's a good idea to go alone. Maybe your mother?
Geez, your date is right around the corner! They sure didn't give you much time to prepare. Well, the worst will be behind you soon, so that's good.
Good luck! Let us know how it goes.
Hugs and sympathy,
Petunia
Hi Stephanie, I will pray for you. Did your attorney give you a tape to watch before the hearing? If not you can find lots of stuff on line. I wish you the very best, Good Luck!
Hugs, Leanne
Hi Suzy , I will be keeping you in my prayers. There is some good stuff on the Internet on disability hearings. Just type in “what to expect at my disability hearing” and you will find all sorts of stuff to help you prepare. Your lawyer should be giving you a cd to watch and also a sheet on what to wear, how to address the ALG. I wish you the best of luck!
Hugs, Leanne
That's good news Stephanie. I will be praying for you.
Hoping all goes well for you, Steph!
I will be thinking of you and sending prayers your way. That is my brother's birthday so I will not forget to send good thoughts and prayers to you.

They didn’t send me anything but a letter saying I need to b there an hour before to get prepared. I am nervous. Thank you for your prayers.
Thank you. Next Thursday can’t come soon enough. I actually don’t want my mom there. I asked my sister and I think my boyfriend might want ti come. My sister and I r very close and she knows a lot about what I go through.
Suzy I will b more than happy to help you in any way with your court appearance.
I can’t thank you all for your prayers. Its been a long two years. I just want this whole thing to b over and I will be able to get on with my life. As far as I know my sister is coming to be there with me. I think my boyfriend wants to be there and while I may not use him as a witness even though he has known me for years. He has seen me go through a lot. Even when we were not dating he has been at the hospital many times with me.
hi Stephanie, praying that judge see's how hard it is to live with this, let alone try and work..
it has to go well,i cant wait to see your post that says GOT APPROVED
hugs & blessing

Yeah, you don't need to be any more stressed than you'll already be, or else you might end up throwing up in the judge's lap. I know I'd be that nervous! It's odd how much this comes to mean to us, especially when we have to in and see someone or talk to them.
It's great that your sister's going with you. And maybe your boyfriend too. They'll help to keep you calm and hopefully might tell you a joke or two beforehand to keep you from being too stressed. And I strongly recommend that you eat something before you go in. If it ends up taking a long time for your case to be heard or to get through the hearing, you might end up lightheaded and woozie if you don't eat. Or grouchie, if you're like me.
Will anyone from the law firm go to the hearing? Have they briefed you on what to expect? And what not to say or do? I have no idea about how these things go so haven't a word of advice to offer on it. I really hope your law firm has gone over it with you. After all, they want the money too!
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
Hmmmm...what law firm are you using? That seems to be pretty scant info for them to give you in advance. Yeesh!
