I will have a list of questions I would like answered if possible.
Saw my regular doctor today and asked if I could have a test done for diabetes and he said why are you looking for more wrong things with you don't you have enough!
Anyway I am having pretty good days and a good 7 hr sleep at night so I feel better during the day
Hey Vicky, glad to hear you finally got an appointment with the rheumatologist. I Hope he or she can help you identify if you have other illnesses and if not help you with the treatment of your fibromyalgia.
Your doctor always surprises me. It’s not unusual for a person, especially if there is diabetes in the family to want to test for it. As well as with some of the symptoms you’ve had I’m surprised that he hasn’t had it checked already.
I’m glad you’re having some pretty good days and that you’re sleeping and that it continues.
Don’t let the doctor stress you out. Keep us updated on how you make out.
Good for you! You sound prepared and I sincerely hope you get some answers. I don't think there is anything wrong with asking your doctor to run tests or address anything you may be concerned about. Don't let your doctor side track you! It's your life, your body, your health!!
I happy to hear your days have been going well and your luckier than me with 7 hours sleep!! I'm sure that helps!!
Good luck with your appointment on July 4th and keep us posted how that goes.
Vicky, good job on getting an appointment! Hopefully your rheumy will do testing and see what's what. You must be relieved...and pleased. Please do let us know the outcome of the visit. And get your question list in order. I'm sure you have quite a few you'd liked answered. I hope he does just that, through the testing.
Sue is right, Vicky. If you have a concern about diabetes, you can have a blood test done through your doctor that'll show your insulin level. If there's a problem, he'll see it there. So good luck on checking into that as well.
