Well today I had a day off work and since I had my appointment with my GP set for Monday I thought I would try to get into one today so I called to see if they had any cancelled appointments. Yep they did! For those of you that don't know I haven't been diagnosed with fibro yet. Anyways, I had done a symptom checker off the fibro network and I scored very high so I took that with me and gave it to my doctor. He put it into my chart we ran blood tests for lupus and arthritis he said if those come back negative then he will diagnose me with fibromyalgia. We talked about medicine he is keeping me on my current pain medication but adding cymbalta since I had allergic reactions to lyrica and savella. I go back in two weeks. I feel relieved that I probably have the answer ( I know I do) we did the same tests a few years back. But I am also upset that I have to deal with this the rest of my life.
