Blueeyedgirl, I’ll keep you in my prayers. You are not alone, even if it feels that way sometime. Isn’t there anyone to help you with your parents? I have the same back issues with nerve damage as well. It’s so difficult, to say the least, I feel you’re pain. Take a hot bath tonight and try to restore your inner peace and it might help with the pain. Thinking about you.
Blueeyedgirl , it’s hard to know how to help, one day at a time, one hr at a time if needed .one moment … I hope you. CAn relax and enjoy your daughters concert. Focus on each moment, & try not to let your mind worry,it will help keep the stress down this week, slow down & do what you can, take deep breaths and keep telling your self, one thing at a time.

I can’t say anything more than what all these wonderful, supportive people have said. I see you as a very amazing, strong willed daughter and mother. Standing on your feet all day can’t help either - I am disgusted that there isn’t help available for your father, as well as for you. Blueeyed Girl, I swear to you, if I lived near you (Do I? I'm in the Boston area,) I'd get up right now, even though I'm feeling crummy and come and help you. You need help, girl!!! It is so unfair that sick, sick people have to drag themselves to work, to doctor appts, to parents doc appts, etc. without any help, financial or personal. I know exactly what you mean about moving a half-paralyzed person as I had to do it with a friend a while back, it's like dragging a really heavy sack of potatoes, (no offense meant because I know they are feeling humans.) Is there NO ONE who can help you move him in the future? No home health aid that can be assigned to come and help?
As for you, whow! I'm not sure how you're still standing. Maybe you aren't either, eh? How about applying for disability? I mean, just ONE of your conditions would do in any normal person.
All I can say is Bless you, you are an incredible woman, mom and daughter. How you do it, I don't know. I'll pray for you, to give you some strength through all of this. Meanwhile, feel free to contact me through this site if you want. I'll be happy to support you through this.

Hi blue eyes. I am amazed at your strength. Sometimes when I feel like I cannot do something that needs doing, I keep repeating things like " God, I cannot do this on my own but if I can borrow your strength for just an hour, I trust I will make it".
