Hello everyone. My name is Tiffany, and I’m coming to you from Missouri. I haven’t been officially diagnosed with fibromyalgia yet, as I’m just in the beginning stages of realizing this might be a bigger problem, and finding the right doctor. I’ve been dealing with this consistently for about 4 years now, and arguing with myself for almost 2 on what other options it may be.
I’m in education, currently working in a special education classroom with students who have severe emotional and behavioral problems. And trying to plan a wedding in my off time!

You might try a search for “Missouri” using the magnifying glass search tool in the purple banner above. You never know who you’ll find, or who might be able to point you in the right direction.

I’m changing PCPs as well. My current one doesn’t listen to my complaints, and is overall rude in his demeanor. I’m tired of not being taken seriously with my own health. Several of my other conditions can be attributed to fibro but no one is willing to listen because I don’t consistently go to the doctor. That’s why I said I was just starting out with looking.
I am in Kansas City, so just wanted to say hi and let you know we do have somewhat of a network here, and a couple of drs who work with fibro. Where do you live? Hang in there.
