Grief

I have never been good with death...well socially good.

When adults pass I find great indifference, people die. Life goes on. But when faced with the death of a child, it floors me.

I have many friends with children with special needs. My child has CP and will need life long care. Last night a friend lost her boy at age 5. He struggled through these 5 years with many illnesses, many stays in teh hospital.

Now he has passed very suddenly from a lung infection.

Just sharing , just venting some grief.

The death of a child is beyond understanding. I don't know how any parent could get through it. It's an abnormal abomination that no parent should ever have to experience. I'm terribly sorry that your friend lost her beautiful boy. Please accept my condolences for her. I know you must feel badly too so I also include you in with my condolences. As her friend, I'm sure you'll do what you can to offer her some means of comfort. Please come to us for support. We're here for you.

Blessings,

Petunia Girl

Dear Lyra,

Your grief is perfectly understandable, there is nothing on earth more precious than a child. I am so sorry to hear of the trials of this little boy and his loved ones.

Sending you love and hugs,
