Hair growing in patches on legs

This one is embarrassing, but here goes... I have noticed that the hair I used to hate to shave off my legs is growing back in patches now. I just noticed it, so I don't know if it's a Fibro thing or a thing related to Fibro meds. I am taking Amitryptiline. Any ideas?

I haven't shaved my legs (or armpits) for 4 yrs. Pointed it out to my internist, she said, "your right". Big help. Anyway, now I just look at it as a blessing :)
