Has anyone seen this yet?

Hi,

A colleague at work shared this with me. It's the first I have heard of for a source of our pain...

Is it verifiable?

Hope you are all well.

Love,

Laurie

Yes, it seems to be the first step to me! At least it is some type of verification, justification, a start, you know! We have had several people post this news, but it was nice to read this version. Thank you! Personally I feel there is much more than this, as other professionals have decided, just not all of them. It 's progress!

Thanks for posting! Hope you are well rested and rejuvenated after your beach trip!

Love and hugs,

SK

Hi

This was a good article thank you for posting.

Hello Laurie

This article is very upbeat from the first sentence leading one to think that they are on the cusp of solving fibromyalgia. That immediately makes me skeptical. As I scanned the article not one mention was made of studies, just one man's name was quoted.

To me it sounds like a new theory without verification.

Now there needs to be a lot of work to prove this.

It was an interesting article. Thanks for posting it for us to read. Now let's wait and see what happens to this theory.

I also had a few friends forward this article to me today. It seems strange that they'd find the problem in the hands, but maybe they're on to something. It is good to see that positive articles are now getting out to the public, stating that we're not making up our symptoms!

I saw this article too - one of the things that brought me back to the group. I went back into denial again for a little while :-(. Anyway, I do remember one of the first more painful areas were my hands - especially when I was doing a physical activity. It does make me wonder if this new Theory is on to something. I’m just glad people are writing that its not “just in our heads!”

Exactly Killian!

Good to have you back! Hope to hear more from you! Hope you are well!

Thanks SK!

I’m back and hope to contribute more :-). At this point I refuse to give up my passion of working with, showing and training dogs. I came really close while I have been away. So I hope to find information or ideas to try to keep me moving. The fatigue is the worst for me!!

Thanks, Everyone. I hope they really are onto something for all our sakes! And, yes, it was terrific to read that it's not all in our heads. The larger public of well people need to keep hearing this until it's common knowledge.

SK, dearie, I am well-rested, but my smartphone was stolen this last week and my computer is fried, so I haven't been able to post! Oh well, it is what it is! It's good to see you and all the others on the boards!

Love,

Laurie R.

Perhaps they ONLY focused on the hands, research can be very limited, anything is a start though!
