I was told about it today and it sounds, painful but very interesting. A classmate of mine is a chiropractor and she is certified in this technique. This is a way to break down the muscle to open it up for the inflammation to go away. This is used in sports a lot and those who have plantar fasciitis and other injuries. She said it could be helpful for fibro. This treatment is VERY aggressive and she says it will bruise the body but I am interesting in trying it and wondered who else may have tried it.
There have been members who have talked about this being of help to them, but I could not find it with the search engine. Some people delete their posts if they leave, could be it.
I would trust what a good Chiropractor suggests, they have kept me on my feet, Mo!
BTW, the only thing I could not tolerate, because of my stenosis and SI joint damage was a technique where they put you on a special table and snap a movable plate down. These are the new tables, where the table does the work. I prefer the old ones that you stand up on and they gradually take you down into position, and the Doctor moves you around. I just cannot be jerked around like that. A good DC will never work on you without current x-rays, information gathering and a very detailed first visit. They will quickly come to know your body and will easily be able to detect and correct any problem areas. Mine has been a god send!
