Hi SK - Thanks so much for welcoming me back. I am almost back to my old self!! About a week ago, I got that horrible flu that is going around. I have never been so sick with flu in my life!! It was awful. Along with this ( as this apparently was not enough for me!!) on the third day of my flu - I got Tinnitus in my right ear. I have been prone to this since I was in my 40's. Okay, now I have the flu -upset stomache, dizziness and a horrible buzzing noise going all together. Wow! Did this make me sick!! I am feeling a little better - the buzzing in my ear is almost gone and the nausea, almost gone. Having all this hit me at once has made me very weak though.. I will get up to do something and I have to sit down again. I don't have the strength to get up. I like my home to be nice and neat. But THIS time- I don't give a damn!! LOL Unbelievably, having all this did NOT cause a flare-up! I still have the usual aches and pains though. I can only imagine what would have happened if if the old Fibro had wanted to chime in! I was sick enough with all that I had to contend with. Appetite was nil as well. My son, bless his heart, checked on my every day and made sure I had plenty of liquids on hand. I am glad to be back on this website though. As I told everyone - I really did miss you all, but the ear problem made me awfully dizzy - and I couldn't focus on anything. Love, Laurie
