Help

I really don’t know if I can ask this on here n if no sorry but dose anyone suffer from a very low to no libido I know it’s something ppl don’t talk about I am going to doc about it but thought I’d ask if anyone else is same and for advice if anyone has any.

Hi Chell,

Any subject is welcome and if you don’t see it someone is probably too scared to ask. I know some meds have the side effect of low to no libido. It’s smart that you are going to the doctor as they might be able to help you understand better. Wishing you the best of luck getting to the route of the problem. Let us know how you make out.

Hugs,

Hi Chell,

When I am in pain or feeling tired, I suffer from the same thing. Like QW said, it can also be a side effect of certain medications. I think it is good that you are going to talk to your PCP about it.

Chell,
I have suffered with low to no libido for years. I even went to a psychiatrist to address it. We tried a lot of different antidepressants and nothing really worked. That was years ago… And now that I have fibro, I can say that a lot of these antidepressants I am on do make me in the mood more often, although I would probably not have sex cause of the pain. But its nice to have that issue addressed. Great question. Keep us updated. Oh… I think its the Cymbalta that has helped me.

Hi Chell,

Yes I do suffer from low to none. I don't know if it's my age or the meds but I'm not in a relationship so I've had no reason to do something to change things.

I think it's really important that you see a good doctor who listens and tries to help you. For instance, I have a fibroid on my uterus that's nasty, so it might be part of the problem. Your meds could be the problem, the fibro and pain could also be at fault. You'll need a good doctor to help you out. Go for it! Obviously if you brought this topic up, it must be important to you. Good luck!

Don’t be afraid to ask questions ever.
