Holidays Begin Already

Hey All!

During the months of November/December I am fairly busy. Despite the holiday Christmas being at the end of December, my celebrations started a month ahead due to birthdays. I must say, my parents weren't great at planning the conceptions because we are fairly clumped together birthday wise. My Dad has his birthday today, my brother on the 6th of December and mine on the 11th, for each birthday we go out for dinner which is painful because it includes all the primping needed. Also we do begin the mini Christmas things on December 8th and a huge holiday, birthday party for me and my bro on the 15th. And while all of this s going on I have exams though accomodated and time and a half I still need to do each of them, one on the 7th, the 10th, the 11th :(, the 12th and the 13th. It is stressful, painful and exhausting, I have to worry about all these exams and do celebrations and be able to devote a ton of time to studying. I know I'll get it done but I still have a couple large assignments to do still and have very little understanding of financial accounting still. I am also irritated with the fact on my birth day I have an exam and don't get to stop till a couple days later. I know I'll have more to celebrate my worry is my energy and the amount I truly can devote. Sadly none of the dinners can be changed as reservations have been made already.

Busy Season!

Thanks for reading my rant... yet again.

Any advice on time allotment or anything? (It's 5 courses and I need to study each of them a lot each is about 8 chapters worth of stuff and so I need to reread the text book and do my flash cards.)

Hugs!

Shawna, the best advice I can give you is to cut out any extraneous activities, those you don’t absolutely have to attend, and concentrate on your studies. And you need to not fret over so much cuz that will just make things worse. Go at a steady pace and don’t try to cram. And it sounds like you use flash cards a lot. Take them with you to the parties, etc., and sneak in 5 or 10 minutes here or there to study. When I was in college, I used to study at basketball games, on bus rides, eating dinner, etc. You can do this!

Thanks so much! One thing I found is on my black berry playbook there are flash cards I can create making it so they can come with me no matter where, no matter how many. :) Hugs!
