Homeopathic medicine

Has anyone on here tried homeopathic medicine? I had one session today of Shiatsu massage. It lasted 2 hours because she had to get to all those trigger points. I have to say the session was painful but full of relief at the same time. A lady went with me to help me with the italian translation and we really hardly know each other. My body was so relaxed afterwards. This lady told me that she couldn't believe the difference in the look on my face. I have been suffering incredibly with irritable bowel syndrome for the last year and I have to say that the pain is gone right now in my abdomen. It is NEVER gone. I am very hopeful. She suggested I try a Bach flower remedy called Rescue Remedy. Has anyone tried this? She suggested it for anxiety. I have to say that it seemed to settle my stomach almost instantly. She also suggested that down the line to try olive extract for extreme fatigue. Same brand, but she wants to wait to get to know my needs first. This is the first hope I have had in a long time and the most energy I have had in months. Again, I am hopeful and would love to hear from anyone with experience with this type of treatment.

Hi Enuf, wow I’m so excited for you… That’s awesome, I do have a homeopathic dr that I see, and I visit the whole food store on a regular basis for natural herbs and supplements, I have not tried any of the two things you talk about, but I will def be looking them up. ( although right now I am on a candida treatment that involves pau d arco tea & other things )
There must be something said about message, because the last time I had a whole body message the next day I had more energy and did more in that day than I had in 2 years… I just kept thinking could it be the message or what… I think tomm I will schedule another one, I never heard of shiatsu message, but I will be looking that up also…
Thank you so much for sharing, it’s always so exciting when we get a ray of hope …
Hugs & blessings

Hope is essential. It's what keeps us going! This morning was an AWESOME morning. In the back of my head though, I was anticipating a crash. Of course, I got it. But, hey, a great morning? Haven't had one of those in a while. Maybe more in the future. I would love to hear more about the candida treatment. The book I mentioned earlier suggests using naturopathic treatments for a certain amount of weeks and then 6 weeks of treatment with Diflucan. Really don't think I will get the doc to write for that, but it is always worth a try!

I'm a big fan of homeopathic therapies, in combination with "regular" therapies.

I use bach flowers against mild panic attacks all the time, and for me, it helps. It might be a bit of placebo, but in the end, I don't care as long as it brings me relief.

I'd suggest you try bach flowers. You can either get the regular rescue drops, or have some mixed especially for your personal needs at a pharmacy that offers it (some do, at least around here in germany) they also come as bubblegum, hard candy or salve, but I haven't tried those yet.

The best thing is, if they don't help, they won't do any damage, because they are completely free of side effects (except of course, if you're allergic to something in them, but other than that, they're perfectly fine to try)

I'd love to get a massage, but the moneeeey XD
