Hi all. Tuesday evening I was in Walgreens and I stumbled on this Homeopathic medication called Fibromyalgia Relief. I have actually noticed an improvement since I started using it. Has anyone else tried it and how did it work for you?
Also a friend called me yesterday and told me about a friend she has reconnected with. This friend has or had fibromyalgia pretty severely. Somehow she heard about essential oils. She tried them and became totally pain free. Has anyone tried the oils and did they work?
I am going to meet her tomorrow and hear what she has to say. If I like her responses to my questions then I going to try it. What do you all think? I appreciate any/all comments.

Hey Jackie! My daughter found this formula when she was looking for a Malic Acid/Magnesium supplement prescribed by my Chiropractor. He carries the supplement at his office but by a different name and higher priced..
I did notice a difference in how achey I was and it seemed to help me get some of that elusive sleep we fight to get.. Tag me in your discussion about it when you start one.
I was talking to a new myofascial therapist on the phone today and she mentioned Arnica Oil. I've attached a link to a website that explains a little. I haven't tried it yet. Sounds helpful tho. I love essential lavender oil, sometimes I put a couple drops in a little water and do a final hair rinse with it. It's good for many, many things. Add a couple drops to your epsom salts bath too.
I've not heard of it - though I'm very cautious and skeptical about "homeopathic" medications. I'm all for natural herbal and such help - the extract of tarantula or what have you is just...well, there's a lot of "snake oil" to most of them. Homeopathic gets thrown around a lot for things that are holistic. So, I guess I'm trying to say I'm all for most holistic, but not the far-fetched stuff. But hey if it works - if it's making a difference go for it. They found in some studies that sometimes even a placebo can get the body's natural self healing proprieties going.
I actually have a friend that does essential oils. She brought them over to me once - most of them were too strong for me, at least by smell. Apparently I'm really sensitive and even the brief sniffs put my head in a lot of pain. I don't know if I might get used to them over time, but my hubby's even more skeptical than I am. They seem to make a lot of sense to me!
Hope you're doing well and the meeting with your friends, friend goes well!
