Do anyone have hot flashes?
I do, but I'm not sure if it is menopause.
Many of the fibro medicines have hot flashes as side effects - I am on Savella and have them and I am post menopausal
Only for 18 years!! They are subsiding I hope!! Not sure of your age, but there are simple lab tests that can tell your doctor whether you are peri, post or in the middle of your own personal hades! And maybe come up with a treatment that won't conflict with any of your current medications. Good luck to you!!! :)
I have hot flashes, and went to my gbyn and he says that my hormone level was find, but I all of a sudden I get hot falshes in the face and I really be sweating. I get so embrassed. Then all of a sudden it goes away. But I really get them went I feel pressure or aniexty coming on.
my bones hurt as well as the reat of me my spine mostly i lean to the left and my hands and fingere's go numb. and my neck hurts it gives me headach's and on top of all this i get hot flashes but i think mine might be from my hystroectomy 2 years ago my my core temp is up and stays up most of the time,i have a fan on me at all times,,best wishes to u..Shannon...
The numbness related to your spinal pain sounds like a nerve impingement, and most likely in the cervical spine area, as I had similar and went to my dr. who sent me to neuro and they didn't do anything. So went to my chiropractor and first thing he did? Took an xray!! And showed the problem and he made some adjustments and numbness was alleviated and headaches subsided. A hysterectomy will definitely give you wicked hot flahes and surprised you weren't put on any replacement hormones. Fan is definitely my best friend!! :) Good luck and best wishes to you too! Bonita

Don't be embarassed sweetie!! Yep, the face gets flushed and then the sweating, but it's a normal process so don't stress over it and increase your anxiety!! Use whatever to cool yourself!! Just fan yourself and think of it as having a "power surge" or "it's just my inner child playing with matches"!!! Use humor to get thru it!! Bonita

Hot flashes have subsided for the most part - I started taking Premarin and they pretty much stopped - it must have counteracted the Savella
