Ben's Friends has been approached by the University of Colorado School of Medicine who are conducting an online research study investigating treatment preferences in people with fibromyalgia.
Further information on the research study, which entails completion of an online questionnaire, can be found in the attached document.
We have heard from the University of Colorado Medical School that our amazing Fibro community has generated over 100 recruits for this valuable research project. Thank you to those of you who have already participated.
If you haven't yet taken part then please take a look now. Your responses will help inform and shape the future treatment of fibromyalgia.
This is great. I can even do it from bed. Thank you. I have already tried a clinical with AZ State University about 8 years ago. It's nice to see what is new and has been learned. I tried a local support group to no avail. The others were newbies with this condition and I felt like a teacher. Since I was diagnosed in 1996 so much more has been learned. But 3 months ago I fell down a flight of cement stairs and feel like I am back at the beginning. Now I take it day by day and live downstairs because my balance is not good.
Hurting yourself like that takes more time to get over when you have fibro. And the disease also lends itself to causing a balance problem. Try to take it a little slower ;) <3

Of course. I've been meaning to get back to the site but I've been distracted by a cross country move. It took everything out of me. Between moving and making my house wheelchair accessible I'm about brain dead. I'm starting to feel more together. Thank you for the opportunity. I'll look into the other links.
