Hi, Quite a few years ago I went to a Rheumatoligist and he told me I had both Fibro and Polymyalgia...the poly would only last 5 years. So seems like I remember that I had been feeling better, but now my arms, shoulders and hips are bad!!!
I checked and now Poly only lasts 2 years has anybody else had Polymyalgia???

Do you have temporal pain, fever and disturbed vision? if you do see doctor asap. I also get pains in shoulders, neck, arms and hips but bloods have shown no inflammation. Have been told by Rheumy it is part of my Fibro pains. You should get checked out anyway to rule out anything else.

The usual time frame they give for PMR is 2-6 years, but it can still flare-up or re-occur after this time. Were you diagnosed with Giant Cell Arteritis? They usually occur together, and that's something to keep an eye on. You might want to see your Rheumatologist to find out what's going on, because there are many things that can cause your symptoms!
