JAB#3 (on Nov 7th) → MCAS / histamine since end of Dec: 15-20% energy for under 45’, then white lips & pale face. But if I keep strain down to ‘half speed’ (70%) I can push on thru for hours - with a few breaks and lots of task-switching. Not that much specifically histaminey problems since end of Dec, occasionally sinuses and nausea, no more ill ache. Usually white lips & face 30%, and some sliding instead of walking indoors 10%, bit more cold intolerance 30% (long johns 24/7, 2 thick duvets at night). From Jan on, bit warmer (5-12° C), I’ve swapped long johns for a 2nd pair of pyjama trousers at night and when I’m pretty active at daytime sometimes no long johns, but when out slow cycling/walking. And don’t need hot water bottles any more, whether I can manage a cold shower (usually) or not.
Development summarized: Down: Nov 17th - Dec 1st, worst 17th-18th, best 20th & 29th. Up: Dec 2nd-6th, Down 7th-8th, Up: 9th-14th, best 13th-14th: Winning easily 4:0, and slow energy for 4h! Feb 15th: strong headache evening and night probably from red beans without DAO, praps also the sinus burning. Feb 18th: More energy for the first time. Very red lips, looking inflamed, go white when I press them together. From Feb 19th on: back down to 10% energy, everything else fairly OK, incl. at night, incl. cold tolerance, incl. fingertips, but lips’d be white if they weren’t chapped and inflamed. Feb 24th: Energy up to 14% due to specks of T4. Feb 26th: sinuses upon waking up 9:20… Energy up to 20% from T4. Mar 10th evening: Virus Ache of 5-7, underlying energy seems unchanged 20%. Mar 12th: all Ache und pains decreasing, urge better until I move, but no appetite, nauseous when I do something slightly strenuous, and dry coughing like mad a lot of the time. Mar 13th: Histaminey burnt tongue and feverishness after 1h intense ‘work’ phone call. Mar 16th: Still some histamine rests, but energy vs. histamine like before CoV, praps less stiffness, but less appetite. Mar 23rd still seemingly in the midst of a re-visit of the "CoV symptoms. Mar 24th still severest exhaustion with feverish ache despite energy, appetite increasing, bladder a bit better, cough not sure. Apr 4th: Found out that we’d got CoV from a person who hadn’t taken their’s seriously and hadn’t told us immediately that they had it: grrrrrrrr! Increasing GABA has stopped all bladder problems, but not yet all sinus burning. Apr 11th: CoV-cough and bladder seems to be recovering, T4-temperature/night sweats too, now appetite needs to recover weight… Awake at night 1h and tongue burning for >24h from banana and tuna. Apr 15th Histaminey sinus “cold” 21:00-24:00 after too much concentrated soy products. May 1st: strong histamine symptoms after 100g of washed white beans without DAO. But shows that the recent higher histamine symptoms after CoV have got better. May 16th: Soy yoghurt & yeast veg. spread without DAO. Try again with DAO! Effect: Wide awake at 4, needed extra vagal relaxation to continue sleep, woke up with sinuses and frontal headache for 20h, then also awake at 4/5 the morning of the 17th. Evening of 16th: 2 DAO, continuing that.
Treatments: Antihistamine, and extra GABA from Nov 29th. Stopping the antihistamine at the turn of the year quickly caused sleep problems.
SLEEP (click for details): 6h48 up x (1h07), mainly deep. ✅ ➔ Feeling 70% well, Ache 2 of 7 ❌, getting up: 80%/2 ✅. Nostrils 0-5% stuffy 100% of the night ✅. No sweat. Feel a bit better when up with less passiflora, but the amounts and total length of breaks have gone up rather than down, that might've been due to a histamine rest, against which a cold shower helped in shorter time than the "relaxation" the night before (22'). Again I should have finalized yesterday's blog entry before the evening meal. I think I felt only 70% well instead of 80% tonight cos of histamine, not cos less passiflora doesn't make a difference, so with more DAO now and keeping passiflora down, I hope to get back up to 80%.

Better since improving tooth care again and giving that side of the jaw a rest from chewing for a few days from Feb on.

I had to have a long think about how you came to think I can do this & how I can explain it to you.
Last June I had to cancel an important video conference for colleagues.
Despite the need and desire - that doesn’t make it better, but more difficult.
Since then I organize even large complex events exclusively by mail, telephone at most 5-20 min. For people who do not understand me that well, there must then be a “translator” on site.
And despite my enthusiasm, I completely overestimated myself in our first zoom-meeting. Both even trying it at all, and not insisting on my 40’-50’ limit. It was really bad for me. I didn’t want to tell you that so clearly at the time. Now it seems necessary. But that’s why I mailed you afterwards, that no further meeting is possible - and since then I have been getting even worse, especially in the last months talking. Because of my “brain fog” I drop something about once an hour, I have to clean up something all the time, the day before yesterday I cut myself deeply. The words that come out when I talk are often hilarious. When I have to go up against it “out of house”, that takes a tremendous effort.
I rarely meet / talk on the phone with friends and family because of it.
You guys have the strength to condense things, I don’t anymore. I have to wrestle 24/7 with my body (even while lying down), my and your words / thoughts, and the things around me. And still often have to do several things at once to endure this kind of thing. And in any case almost constantly think about it 3 times, carefully approach everything I do. And nevertheless, often have to compensate for that ‘several times’ afterwards: to recover, mentally and physically, to reflect, to draw new strength. With everything, not with special things.
You only know me a bit. At work, my colleagues and bosses know that they can rely on my organization 100%, even for complex things, down to the last detail. Since you don’t know that, it’s understandable if you can’t, it’s a pity, but just bad luck. Tasks must come towards me, no, fly towards me, with their own momentum, which I can then use and “direct further”.
The possibilities I still came up with would be that you at least give my request a chance. And an Aaron (Ex 4:14) for my ideas, who can be my mouth, take over the talking. Not necessarily to share my opinion, only to understand me. But from now on things in this project must “fly” to me, I cannot run after them and explain further, that takes away strength for life, for work and for my dearest ones.

Foggies: a) dropped muesli bowl first thing, empty, b) smashed a plate, empty, by dropping a can out of a cupboard, c) dropped full small watering can on to coffee filter and cut up banana peel I’m drying to use as fertilizer, all on to the carpet, d) dropped lots of things, e) forgot 2 flowers in pots, they had to come after me… f) fell all over the place, nothing happened tho, g) being talking funny the past few days too, h) lots more, forgotten… thankfully… i) suddenly remembered I’d bought something dairy, but didn’t know what where or where from or where it is, found it again an hour later and still had difficulty recalling, just used logic, j) forgot several times that shops aren’t open tomorrow and kids might be coming cos of ascension… k) threw a small full yogurt on to the floor during the evening meal… Getting crazy…
