JayCS’s Fibro Blog

I’ve now semi-finished my “biggest successes” post above, made to complement the summary of my “demise”. :smirk_cat: May be adding things in the next few days though. Like managing to improve my circadian with one big yank, because it’s easier for me to go radical than to go bit by bit.

I’m re-focusing these entries because I’m starting earlier in the day, so able to take my time. Also views have gone up to 80/d, good reason to make this easier to follow.

I’m taking “new habits” and hardly changing FM symptom intensity out of the daily blog entry and putting them in the recent “Summary” and the “Successes”.
They were both important for quite a few months now, because 1) I was having difficulty changing habits, now I’m able to change things immediately without additional motivation, 2) It may be fundamental to others to check how their fibro symptoms change every day, but mine are just as high every day, but I’ve learned to have a good life despite that, by changing it completely again and again.

New habits (and see "simplified"). 'Early outside bird' with lots of early sun, light & air all day now NEEDS to pull his schedule forwards. ✅

Today's FM symptoms unchanged from WPI 11 & SSS 9-1=8, except....: +0 ✅. (Click for details)

Today’s symptoms sorted by the ACR 2016 criteria

Widespread pain, WPI = 11 of 19 areas: limb-Ache 8 (30-60%, stiff 30%) + spine-pain 3 (10%), shoulder-girdles/hips 0 chest / abdomen / jaw 0
Symptom severity, SSS = severity 9 of 12: Fatigue 3 (90%), insomnia 2 (10%), fog 2 (30%), headache (0), GI 1 (10%), depression 0

I’m also simplifying my Lessons in self-care Reasons to be cheerful and Simplified by taking the numbering out, since I now have several a day, without tagging each with a number, and I’ve tallied so many, that I’ve finally “proven” to myself :smirk_cat: that I have already learnt 1000 lessons, have had 1000 reasons to be cheerful and am constantly simplifying things. It’s so much that I may also now think about that less. But I spose it’s a mental motivating push for us if I continue.
