:trophy: Due to making it a habit to turning front down and use elbows & knees to get up I only need a few seconds rather than minutes.
:trophy: Meal before supps in the evening makes it earlier.
:trophy: 2 cold showers inside an hour not successful, drained heat and strained a back muscle.
:trophy: Hot water bottle, incl. under “hunchback” balanced heat and strain.
:trophy: Double pillow & acupressure allowed supps before getting up.
:trophy: Kept all heartburn & burning stomach down.

MCAS Healthmeans summit - Theoharides: Mast cells vary, but are also unique.
1000 secretory granules, each have 50 substances, plus another 50 when activated, so many more than the histamine and leukotrienes we “are dealing with” (focusing on?). Mast cells are our canary in the mines. Perivascular Mast Cells Dynamically Probe Cutaneous Blood Vessels to Capture IgE. Some genetic component, maybe epigenetic or genes that “wake up”.

Triggers, anything that can be stressful, incl. mast cell, food allergies, histamine dominance etc. Difference between CFS and FM: Insomnia, due to serotonin deficiency in FM, CFS have problems waking up, weak immune system, random sore throats, infections. Unusual to have both. Continuum. Serotonin increases pain tolerance, Substance P elevated pain up, serotonin increased squashes substance P. Raising pain threshold back up improves the central sensitisation. That’s why Cymbalta and Savella, but many problems, they don’t make it, they just hang on, like gasoline. That’s why SSRI doesn’t do much. Side effects: depression and pain :wink:
Tryptophan turns into 5-HTP, or 5-HTP itself, combined with B, C & magnesium. That turns up the serotonin.

The most common adverse reactions of adenosine injected (not ATP, and not oral) are flushingemphasized text, chest discomfort, facial flushing, headache, throat/neck/jaw discomfort, gastrointestinal discomfort, and lightheadedness/dizziness.[Ref]
ATP in the body is strongly controlled and quickly breaks down to adenosine, which only increases blood flow etc (maybe that’s the burning), plus studies found hardly any difference, if at all at the end of longer workouts, so breakingmuscle doesn’t recommend it.

Question: “Could we ‘eat’ ATP molecules and get energy from them?”
Interesting question! It appears that this has been studied as some athletes have tried taking “ATP supplements.”
This study looked at blood ATP concentrations after administration of ATP via enteric coated pellets (because ATP undergoes rapid hydrolysis at stomach pH), and by naso-duodenal tube (bypassing the stomach).
The results showed that ATP concentrations in the blood were not increased, but the final catabolic product (uric acid) was elevated. This would seem to indicate that some metabolite of ATP was absorbed and then further metabolized, although other studies have shown no ergogenic (performance-boosting) effects.
In short, ATP is not orally bioavailable. In particular, if you ingest ATP without an enteric coating to protect it from the low pH of the stomach, it will be rapidly hydrolyzed there.
Adenosine 5’-triphosphate (ATP) supplements are not orally bioavailable: a randomized, placebo-controlled cross-over trial in healthy humans.

Talk by Hirsch: “Fix Your Fatigue”. 33 causes for fatigue, most people have 20+ of them, but different ones.
Step 1: Assess the causes. 27 of them can be determined by signs and symptoms, 75%, just with a checklist. 25% need the labs.
Step 2: Replace deficiencies (and hormones): adrenal, thyroid (sex hormones,) and mitochondria: support. Boosting with more energy to make lifestyle changes: sleep, food, water, movement. Balancing doses. Neurotransmitters: serotonin, dopamine, GABA etc.
Step 3: Open up the “detox” pathways: Intestines, liver, kidney, lymph (garbage in body), neuro-lymph (garbage system in brain). Free so they don’t close up again when more heavy metals come.
Step 4: Removing the toxicities (heavy metals, like mercury, lead, cadmium, iluminum, chemicals) is stressful on the body. Mold. History. Infections. Mold plus infections, Lyme, …, obesia, EBV, HHV6, CoV, parasites, yeast, bacteria. Immune system gets hijacked. Allergies foods, inhalants, emotional patterns, “adverse life events”, don’t have to be that severe, rejection. Electro-magnetic fields. Deficiencies caused by the toxicities, so Step 2 first.

2022-09-08, Thursday - Energy 5% / Sleep 70% / Feeling 60%-ish

Strange start to the night, haven’t had that for months: Totally awake upon going to bed. So I got up again after half an hour, the time it sometimes takes for the fast cold shower FCS to work. And worked for almost 2h, without getting particularly tired, then cold showered again, this time it worked. Thinking about supps it felt as if I hadn’t taken any, then at least realized I had very probably forgotten the magnesium malate, so added that upon getting up to work. However I had stopped taking it a while back without such an effect. So I’d’ve thought I’d forgotten either passiflora or GABA or both. However I’d encapsulated GABA and think I remember preparing the amounts, similar for passiflora. In the morning I also feel 8.5h is enough, not druggedness, so am stopping there. But not sure what this could mean. If it were the tooth ache from the dentist or the “lower back unrest” LBU then it should’ve been the night before… The only thing that’s changed is getting more energy in the evening, seemingly 10% or more, being able to move more without nausea…

Not sure what all this detox stuff is about, such a buzz word. Relevant? What Berg has to say about it is before you take detox herbs to take purified bild salts, so you don’t get a detox reaction he calls Herxheimer Reaction, some say “Herx” (Rxn = Reaction). I don’t think I get these.
How could I detox? He says it’s possible with foods: Detoxify 1000s of Chemicals From Your Body Just With Food - YouTube, cruciferous vegetables induce bile transformation (says the WHO): kale, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, arugula, bak choi. When I eat these (only bak choi at the moment) I don’t have any Herx.

Boosting some things from 7th on for tooth. Trying 1x150mg alpha GPC for fatigue from Sep 5th (recommendation on a forum), can add a few when I'm safe. Pure ATP 400mg in liquid was bad, so at most I may encapsulate & start with less, 100mg. Can't explain pee pain on Sep 4th/5th unless additional stress from a gig. Taking 1x B3 flush free since 25th, 2x from 31st (then checking homocystein). Got, but not yet taking olive oil extract, fisetin. Continuing B2 (R-5-P) when I get round to it.
