And my heart goes out to you, dozer. I hope your headaches end soon. You don't need this on top of fibro!
JoJo
Thanks JoJo,
I am somewhat relieved that since this has taken center the fibro has not been so bad. I had some symptoms that seemed like seizures so they did a test on me yesterday and I am waiting for the results. They will probably do another in a week. It was somewhat discouraging as the tests provoked the symptoms ( jerking of the arm and leg). I can live with the symptoms but not being able to drive- I do not know how I will manage.
I agree that the weather has been playing havoc with us ad I, too have been having more than usual and more severe. I had an occipital injury and punctured dura un an accident 20 years ago that left me with horrible headaches. Plus now my neck has been dealing me a fit. They have been trying to determine what is wrong for a year now and it just is getting worse and worse. They have thought it was Eagle, but not sure. I now am having difficulty swallowing so now we are questioning MS, as well on top of everything. We feel like we are getting c
Please let us know how the results come out.

Oh Dozier, my sympathy on your concussion and headaches and seizures. Are your sure that the headaches and seizures aren't a result of the concussion? I hope not! I had one too last year and was very dizzy for about a month, so that's why I ask if they might have been caused by the initial concussion.
Please let us know how you're making out!
SK, I was thinking that may you and others here should go to a site dedicated to people discussing headaches and ask them what they do for relief. Yours might be from a different source but maybe they'd have some helpful tips.
Also, what about a good sports massage? It sure helped the rest of my body!
I wish I had more knowledge on the subject so I could give you better advice!
I really hope you get some good news or good treatment dozer. The Botox really helps me, but we are all different with different symptoms and different types. Best wishes.
Did you ever find out more about them? Do you go to a Rheumatologist? Internist? Perhaps bring this up again, they are always flooded with new info!
Hope that they can be pinpointed and treated, silent!
So glad that you are with us!
Hugs,
SK
You are so right about the barometric pressure! A killer! Sets my arthritis into high hear every time, and surely the headaches are part of it, at least sometimes. I think this is my neck though, Rheumatologist told me the reason my hands are going numb is nerves in my neck.
Yes, sleep does help, elusive sleep!
Thanks Wendy!
I do think it is my neck, and the neck is the source of the numbness in my hands, fingers and forearms according to the Rheumatologist, I have had 3 recent brain MRI's and they are clean. Thank God! That is how they are still looking for Lupus or MS, in the brain.
Mine are always coming from the neck up and over the top to the forehead.
I go to my GP this Friday about my suspicions of a UTI, so we will see if we get to that part.
I've had that permanently since the fibro started. It's annoying isn't it!!!
myself also Jo and this week it has been so bad having a very hard time working and using the keyboard have the head set on and hit mic and the words go to the page
I also notice this week with the head aches my left hip is very painful and each step feels like I'm gonna fall at my job no one understands and or they don't have enough interest in anyone but them selves that they don't care
today is only Wednesday and have cried almost no stop wonder if that is also causing the headache?
Yes its horrendous. Have you or anyone else had the cramps at the back of you neck? Omg thats a screamer!! Feels like your neck is about to break any second.
Sorry you have been so upset. There are a lot of uncaring and selfish people in this world unfortunately. The stress and upset will also make your headache worse too, so yes... But we can't help who we are can we? We do have feelings!
yes I have I feel like the have slammed my head down and on each side it aches so badly
I also walk on Concrete floors for 8 hours per day amazing that my feet never hurt but from the ankles up do today it even hurts to have my earrings in had to take them out as soon as I got outta work
And how much does wearing underwear hurt?! TMI lol. But its true!!
Sorry for going off track SK! lol. Fibro fog...?
you are right about that lol thats why they also come off when I get home hehe
so sorry SK but quess you can tell how bad of week I'm having forgive me
I am certain the two are caused by the post concussion. I guess post has a few more symptoms than concussion. I am a little upset with the hospital because their recommended treatment was vague and I discovered later simple things like texting, reading or using the computer aggravate it. I had no idea. I would be stuck in bed for 3 days with wash cloths over my head and I have learned to limit ALL activities. The seizures are not confirmed but I decided that I will be taking up yoga if that is the case.
Thank you Tricky123
Eeyoreluver29 that does sound rough. The nausea and the sensitity to light is tough but even worse they effect you so often. I am sorry to hear about this
