This is the link to web md. I was on lyrica for a while with good results, I could not tolerate a higher dose and it inferfered with one of my other meds. I did gain alot of weight. Everyone is different your doctor or pharmacy can also answer questions.
I’ve had good results with it, and I feel like I noticed them pretty quickly. There hasn’t been any weight gain, in fact, I’ve had no side effects. I tend to do pretty well with most meds though. It had helped my pain a lot, and I’ll probably stick with it for a while. There are some new drugs getting approved for FMS, but I’m not ready to make any changes just yet. Must. Survive. Fall. First!
Im on lyrica.It helps a bit.I did gain a lot of weight though.I also get a dry mouth.im on 300mg a day.
my husband tried it and he liked it but it was just too expensive . It is a good product but very costly. Gabapentin can you see the same care or its the same as lyrica.
I tried Gabapentin and i found it didnt help me.Im in ireland so i have free healthcare due to me being on disability.I only have to pay up to 25 euros max on meds a month
Gabapentin is in the same class as Lyrica, but is a different drug. Some people may have no success with gabapentin, but find Lyrica works like a charm. There isn’t a generic version of Lyrica yet, unfortunately.
