Tomorrow is my nervve conduction test! I'm not looking forward to it at all. Anyone else have one done?
Can anyone tell me how long it take ssi once they schedule a hearing? I'm so worried my unemployment runs out in 2 weeks, then I have only my husbands income, look out body double stress beginning
Are you seeing a neurology specialist for the nerve conduction?
For me it took 18 months from my request to be on SSI to the time I received confirmation.

Okay. From my experience,
You 1) NEED to have a driver! 2) Don't eat a heavy meal before you go 3) Since you will have a driver, bring your strongest pain med. 4) Bring saltine crackers, ginger ale & a barf bag.
Have you ever touched an electric fencing for cattle??? Or when you were a kid did you ever have an older sibling talk you into licking a 9V battery?

I had the test done, and did not find it bad at all, however the test was focused solely on my arms. There were a couple of times when I felt a stronger zap, but otherwise I was fine. No long lasting problems. I had this test done right around the time I was diagnosed with Fibro. I hope all goes well for you. Please keep us updated. Hugs.

The dr said extreme nerve damage in right wrist and arm. The test itself was tolerble, I hated the needles they stuck
In my arms legs and feet, that was the nastiest test, overall I did ok, still stressed over funding,
They couldn’t see anything when they did mine…
With fiber damage so microscopic it can’t be detected with a test like that for me…
It was just uncomfortable and painful /:
