I wonder if you ladies & gents know about Louise L Hay?! She is such an inspiration to me! I always feel better after listening to her audio book(s). You can just type her name and you’ll see all of her works awailable to you! I first came in contact with “You Can Heal Your Life” by Louise L Hay some 20 years ago and was pretty inspired by it, and then again more recently after I’ve been stricken with fibro - practicing her teaching makes me feel significantly better! I also do some gentle Yoga & meditation, and that’s also helps tremendously! I do identify with everybody’s feelings when I read all the postings! Thanks a lot! Lol

Hi Anne, Welcome! You have connected yourself to a wonderful group of people who understand everything you are going through! The advice, suggestions and support are phenomenal. I live in Nevada and I know what you are going through with the cold weather. No matter how warm I dress, somehow, someway, the wet/cold weather gets right through me. Once I get home I have to take a really warm bath. I am extremely stiff when I get up in the morning, as a lot of people here are as well. Swimming in a warm pool would be ideal and also pampering yourself will make you feel much better. However, I want to tell you something that happened to me. A couple of years ago, I decided to go for a facial and massage The Facial was great, but the message.......not so great. My doctor got mad at me for even considering a massage to begin with. By the time I got home, maybe an hour later, I was in so much pain from the massage. The massage itself was wonderful and the woman was very gentle on me. But for some reason it really aggravated my FIbro. I am not saying don't do it - just think carefully about it before you consider it. Glad to have you with us! Laurie
