I am a 56 year old and married to my best friend. For over 30 years I have been suffering with fibro. Just got a dr to verify it finally back in April. Seeing my pcp in July to find out what our plan is going to be. I also have degenerative disc disease in my neck and lower back, severe depression, high cholesterol, herniated disk in my lower back, obesity and arthritis. I was working as a CNA until Oct 2014 when I had my bout with severe depression and had to go out on short term disability. I used up all my 12 weeks due to me being allergic to two medications that they tried me on and my workplace terminated my job. I have been wondering if anyone receives disability due to any or all of these diagnosis.
I have applied for personal independent payment (P.I.P) have you applied for it yet? If not get on the phone it only gets backdated to the day of the first phone call to apply x

Love the bit about you being married to your best friend, and he has stood by you all this time. I also am lucky to have a great partner. Sorry I can't give you any advice about disability, I suspect many on here can. Wish you well, and let us know how you get on.
