Oh the pain!

It’s really bad today. I’m sleeping on the couch because my snoring is so bad and my husband has to get some sleep. It seems that every joint iny body hurts. I swear there’s some rain coming. It gets old, hurting all the time. I see an incredible therapist who I’ve seen off and on since 1999. It’s nice seeing someone who knows your family and the history. I feel lost, just wandering around and can’t find an answer. My pain doctor and I are backing me ifs my pain med (my idea) we will see what happens. Last time we tried this we got down to 25 on the fentanyl patch and couldn’t do it. This time um down to a 25 and a 12 patch. I’m going down to 25 because by the time I remembered the prescriptions it was almost expired. Pharmacy was out of 12’s. by the time I got it to the pharmacy in the city it was expired. It’s such a hassle to get another script so we are just going to the 25s. Wish me luck.

Oh Mimi, I do wish you luck! Managing the pain is terrible, the hassles are constant! I can never seem to get all of my pain pills at one time, always have to go back to get the rest of them, because they don't have them all! Of course they have delivery starting at 7 am, about the time I get to sleep some days, so don't want that!

Hope everything works out for you!

Sending my best,

SK

Good luck. trying to a just meds is horrible.

Hi Mimi, Sorry your suffering so much today but your not alone. And yes, I am in Alabama and the weather is supposed to be stormy but who knows. I used to sleep on the couch all the time, just to allow others to sleep, I would get up and down in discomfort. I have been diagnose with fibro since 99 and recently diagnosed with PsA last year. I have to get setup with a pain doctor here as I was in the last city I lived in. I had a tens unit and used lidocaine patches that did help.

I am with you and am here to chat if you need to. I send you comfort from my heart. (((((Mimi))))

Hi treasure7:

I am wondering how long in days / months you are able to use the lidocaine patches. Can you use them everyday?

Thanks, Pam
