Prescription Help

Hello everyone, my name is Iris and I would like to pass on some information that may help in paying for medications. The first is a prescription card that cost you nothing but could be of great benefit to you. The name of the card is Goodrx and can be downloaded to your phone. The card inables you to locate the best price for your meds. It also can be used at most pharmacies. The card allows you to look up and print coupons for discounts on meds you pay for yourself. it also allows for you to do this on your phone and it makes you able to present the phone discount without having to print the coupon.

The next thing can also help in other ways. I was recently prescribed Lyrica. My insurance would not pay for this medication. Lyrica is very expensive and I was unable to pay for it myself. I reasearched and found that Pfizer was the company that made this medication. They have a program that helps by reducing the price asked for, and also send it to you for free if you meet their guidelines. Please don't think they will not help because you make too much money or any of a dozen reasons you might be thinking. go to their website and check it out. they also have a list of all their medications, so you might find help for more. Most companies have programs to assist patients in receiving their medications at a reduced price or even free..

I hope that this might help some of you in getting medications that you need but simply can not afford.

Thanks for this helpful information, Iris. Beautiful name.
Hugs!

Iris, do you know if you have to get a new Goodrx card every year? I use Goodrx and it helps a lot.

Gentle Hugs

As far as I know you don't. Walmart updated their system and I had to show my card again. They took it with no problems.
