Oh dee, I wish you could take it too. Now that I've felt that awful pain so badly again I want to stock pile Lyrica. The pain is always there, even with the full dose of lyrica, but I think those of us who have chronic pain learn to supress it or we develop a different pain threshold than people without chronic pain. We just muddle on through the best we can.

I just started taking it 7 days ago - small dose of 25 mg am & pm to start slow because I’m so sensitive to the other Fibro drugs, savella, cymbalta and gabapentin. Even on the low dose I’ve noticed it has affected my vision, my hands especially have swelled and the foggies have gotten so bad in the afternoon. I am grasping for words at work and catch myself just staring at my computer screen. So I’ve stopped taking my morning dose per the pharmacist - my doctor doesn’t get back to me, of course - and will discuss this with a new rheumatologist next Thursday. At my therapy session yesterday, we discussed the whole doctor issue and their irresponsibility in handling Fibro and chronic pain patients. I too feel so sorry for those so young who may not roar at the doctors like I do. It just seems like we don’t have a voice!!!
This is my last chance too, Dee for a Fibro drug. It scares me so - I can’t stand this pain anymore and at such a low dose, I haven’t noticed any reduction in the pain, only the side affects. The one thing I have noticed is a more positive mood.
