Results are in on my MRI from yesterday

Well I guess that was the fastest time I ever was contacted with any results... she told me that it was NOT normal and that the Dr. I was seeing has referred me over to the MS specialist that I wanted to see.Same office just the best Dr. Now this lady did not tell me what those results were...but does want me to bring my disc from the other MRI. She said then the Dr. Can view it with me and. explain things. My next appointment with the other Dr. Was in August...my appointment with this MS Dr. is Wed. That is fast for a well sought after Dr. Now I am beginning to worry...first....this Dr. Screens his patients. They must meet the criteria. For now I am going to stop looking at that disc...it hurts my brain...lol.

We are all on the edge of our seats waiting with you, Belinda. If it is MS, there are many new treatment possibilities, so hang tough, and take things as they come. Keep us posted.

Hello Belinda,

At leas it is all happening very quickly, so you will know soon, good or bad. You are in my thoughts, please let us know.

Take care, Anne

Thanks Y'all... but I lied ...I just cannot seem to stop looking at these discs... They are very interesting... I only wished I knew what I was looking at. We will know soon... I may have to have more tests maybe not but I will know when it is all said and done.

Madere, I know when I left the office last time the Dr. that seen me asked if I ever had steroids... I let her know that I cannot take oral steroids...but that I had 26 injections in a year...LOL... But I am willing to take steroids if it helps me to get better... I will deal with my stomach ulcers. I have read some about MS treatments... BUT still we don't know what is going on. YET...

I asked my Hubby if he would go with me and he said NO... BUT I had an old friend from high school offer to go with me... I didn't even ask she just offered. I accepted. I have not seen this friend in forever and only have contact through FB and she would spend the day at a Drs. office with me to be their for me to support me... Her heart is huge.

Ok... Time for bed...

HUGGS, Belinda

Belinda, I am glad your friend has offered to come with you. Support is so important right now. A friend like that is priceless. Best of luck at the appointment. You are close to some answers!

Yes, I'm really glad she stepped up. Always nice to have backup. :)

hmmmmmmmmm - I have taken steroids for 10 years. first prednisone tablets, the past five years, kenalog injections every 90 days. both took the pain away of course, EVERY med has risks. now I have osteopenia, so no more steroids. just lots of pain and weakness. but it gave me 10 decent years. I needed that to raise my family work full time, etc. now I have to be patient and see what else can help me with this *&#$&^%* disease ! let us know what doc says about your steroids.
