Strength in Our Numbers

I love this site it helps me cope when I feel down I dont post much but check in often

It’s great to come here and chat find out about not being alone in things and I can sometimes help with the medication questions being ex pharmacy tech. V

It is so very important to have people who understand and share positive supportive ideas and treatments to do my best at "hanging in there" when I get to the point I feel like I just cant do it all another day. Awesome milestone and stronger proof that we aren't just whiney people.......it is a disease........one that SUCKS I must say...LOL. Everyone have the best day possible.......hug a puppy or baby.......my favorite distractions from the pain :)

  1. Hi. Congratulations on this important milestone.I've learned a lot from the group.I'm glad to be part of this wonderful group.

Just knowing that this site is here for people like us is a blessing. Everyone is so understanding and helpful of others here. There is no judgement , only love and hugs. I am grateful for all of you every day. Just knowing that you are here when needed for so many people is amazing. Keep up the good works. Love you ALL!

I used this site a lot for a couple of months then drifted away. Thank you for continuing to send me links. I am back since a move to a new location, away from my great drs, and a major change in climate. Found a great rheumatologist who not only believes in fibro but keeps reading all about it, finding new research, new things to help us, etc. He even immediately had a remedy besides Biotine for dry mouth- Pilocarpine.

Last month I saw him, very weak, muscles barely able to lift my arms, first time he saw me in my wheelchair instead of with a cane. Asked about any new meds. I had been given lovastatin for high chorlestoral.

He immediately had me stop it- statins have a bad reputation for muscle damage. Had blood tests taken to confirm and the muscle enzymes showed muscle deterioration. So be tested if that is happening. There is a lot of info on the net about statins and muscle problems. Just saying
