That's great JC! The fibro support group that I belong too where I live has several male members and they really do have a hard time of it. They feel doubly bad that they are not able to support their families as they used to, since some had to cut work hours down or go on disability. Attitudes in our society can be cruel towards the men who are ill, especially with fibromyalgia.

Hi SK, no offence meant. My comment was a bit 'tongue in cheek'. I have a brother and a young nephew (as well as a sister) afflicted with fibro so I have never had occasion to consider the illness or its effect on us and our lives to be any different for either gender or age.
