So... I had my GP order x-rays of my ENTIRE spine...I have the SI issues that cause lower back pain among other things but I have been having pain in my middle back and shoulders. Well the results came back... I have osteophytes in the mid area of my Thoracic spine...diagnoses says...DDD. I also have the Hiatal Hernia of which I told my GP I wanted it took care of.
I told her I have enough pain and this hernia causes me pain in my chest and discomfort when eating ect... so I want surgery to fix it... so many of my issues just cannot be fixed but we can fix this one... I did some home work and the relation of the thoracic spine DDD to a Hiatal hernia... well just my luck!!! UGGGHHHH
I called my Rhumy and requested he refer me for an MRI. My GP is working on my Gastro. Dr. to find out what to do with the hernia at this time... I know what to do... FIX IT!!!!!
Why is it that no matter what my diagnoses is either it is chronic or unusual... such as the case of DDD is... it is not usual to have this in this area. Now I am seeing that disability more clearly...
