..so true
I understand Colleen. It seems crazy to become that hypersensitive at times, but it happens to me too. Thank God it is not 24/7, but it happening at all is too often. There are times my left leg becomes so sensitive and aggitated, I have to sleep with my feet on a roll pillow, so my leg does not even touch the sheet. It can be maddening!
I can relate to all of you. I think I'm just a big" Ouchie" right now....I wish for a pain-free day for all of us. Hugs Robin
I woke up and told my husband I was about frozen, we turned on the weather channel, it was 23 degrees here! TURN UP THE HEAT! That kind of cold will make you go ouch, and make you faint when the electric bill rolls in!!
Jo, you always brighten my day.
Just breathing....
Seriously tho -- Fibro related:
Riding in the car -- I'm disabled for days afterward
Grocery shopping -- I'd rather starve at this point
Stress
Heat
Lights
Noises
Feckin’ yoga!
Jo, I missed this somehow. But yeppers, you are spot on.
LMAO at sleeping like bat but ankles not holding you. . LOL that would so be me trying to do that!
I have had to get ail things anti-allergy. . .I tried using Aveeno soap free body wash but it actually made me itch more than anything. I used Cetaphil dermaskin care but its so expensive. . .then I use Free & Clear but it's not enough, I have to keep going to the store to buy it. ..ugh I just can't win. toady I brought Dove Sensitive Skin and will try it out to see how it works, I'm hoping i does because I can't keep buying this ish. . .
my detergent is anti-allergic crap, my hand soap annnnnnd I think I am allergic to my metal/steel feeling in my tooth. I've never had one before, only the white kind, now that I have this kind it hurts and research shows that very few can be allergic to it. ugh
Hey Mo! I'm so glad you had a good laugh, I think you were due for one, girlfriend. If I ever do have to hang to sleep, I'll be sure to post a photo! Believe me I'm trying to figure out a way!
Sorry to hear you are going through all of this wth soaps, what an ordeal, expensive too, I know!
I remember picking up a plant based soap in a bargain store, not bothering to smell it, let me tell you the scent was so strong you could have someone next door take the lid of and you would faint from it over here! I kept it to wash cleaning cloths and the mop head until it was gone, taught me a lesson! Now it's dreft for everything. It seems to work for everyone, I have a front loader, so need very little soap. I use the full circle free and clear for dish soap and use it for hand soap in the bathroom.
Allergic talks about the health perils of metal dental fillings! I still have one too.
Yoga, aren't you the ambitious one, MB. Right now, walking upright without a limp is an exercise in excellence!
I know Renie, besides breathing, the car riding, and you aren't near anything!
My world gets smaller every minute of the day!
Yeah, well, not so ambitious, just want to be able to tell the doc that I at least tried it. Because I absolutely refuse to swim for exercise.
doing things while standing up (like cooking, hanging the laundry to dry, ironing, stuff like that)
cold feet
getting up after sitting down after a long day
holding/carrying small objects in my hands
chewing hard things
staying in one position for a longer time
leaning on walls/edges with my arms
scratching (especially at the lower legs and shins)
You would think these lists were being made by the 'ancient ones'. Imagine what life must have been like crossing the country in a covered wagon! Lets forget the attacks, the wild animals, food supplies, water supplies, and all of the other stresses, and just think of the endless ride in a wagon with wooden wheels!!!!
