Traveling long distances

Does anyone have any suggestions for dealing with pain whole on a long trip? I was just diagnosed and have had no relief from my meds, but I am leaving on a four-day bus trip in the morning. I'm not sure how I'm going to cope. Suggestions welcome.

Hi tazmainiya

Take your meds and try and rest as much as possible. Warm baths and low or flat shoes may help if your going to be walking alot.

I hope you have a safe trip.

Stay on schedule with your meds and stop to walk around as much as possible. Don’t wait until the pain is really bad though. Meds and movement are your best options.

Blessings,

Oh I will pray for you. Long trips are hard on me, all that moving around. the bumps and the dips and the turns, the fast take offs, I can keep on going. Unles your driver is slow and easy I would take a muscle relaxer to help ease your pain. I can't read and be a passenger at the same time. I get car sick. But I stick with prayer and try not to look at where I'm going. I get nervous when others drive. LOL.

I would think a car pillow to rest on and maybe listen to some relation music and try and rest.
