Vitamins

About 2-3 weeks ago there was a discussion on either Vit D or B taking, I think, at least 2000 units. They say fibro causes some memory lost and guess what - not only can I not find it but I don't remember. A dentist I met last week said she had just been to a dental conference and the speaker was talking about this Vit and Fibro. HELP

You can go to the top right corner and put in vit d it will bring up past discussions. Your doctor can do blood work to check your vit d levels and b levels i have lupus and have to take vit d. I no vitamins are sold over the counter but they can be toxic in some cases for example potassum can affect the heart if their is to little or to much Some doctors will order the blood work if you call them and most rhuemy doctors do it once a year.

hi cheryl. it does seem like a lot of folks are low in vitamin d. i am taking 2000 IU about 5 x as week. I have the last 2 blood works for my doc to compare. i will see if he tells me if i have improved. I think it is prudent as well to check with your doc about other meds you may be taking before adding vitamins and supplements.

My GP put me on Multi-B 50mg moons ago. My OB/GYN on Vit- D3 2000mg daily along w/liquid cal/mag supplement due to low levels & other illnesses I have. Taking the D's about 4 yrs now.. I would advise u to have ur levels checked b4 starting any supplements because high levels of anything can be just as bad as low levels & some supplements don't mix well w/some Meds. Check w/Dr first.

U got it Ang....ppl prey on us & it's really sad because we are many time vulnerable due to the pain. I'm so glad I've gotten past the WE CAN HEAL IT scams. It took me a long time to learn, but I'm here now. Good for u!! I find that most ppl I talk to w/FM have a Vit D deficiency & some other I can't think of rite now. ((hugs))
