What's Your Favorite Christmas Cookie Recipe?

Delicious, I'm adding this one to my list! Thanks!

Ohhhh, I'm going to have to try this one as well.... I have just shelled 20 pounds of pecans! Delicious South Carolina pecans!

I have never tried to make a Russian tea cookie, I'm excited! Thanks for the recipe!

This one my daughter wants us to try! I've had good luck with cookie recipes that have cake mix in them. I have one with devil's food that you put a maraschino cherry in the middle of..... so good!

Hi Vicky, how did they turn out?

Colleen, your post got me in the mood to finally start the cookies, and I tried something different with the no bake recipe I added, instead of peanut butter, I added marshmallow cream, and instead of 3 c of oatmeal, I used 2 bags of shredded coconut. They don't set as well as the others, so I rolled them in balls and put them in the fridge. They are fabulous! Taste like mallowcups with lots of coconut!

OOOOOOO! I love coconut! I will have to try that! I've tried 2 different macaroon recipes and have had no luck with them setting up, this might be right what I need! Thanks!

I have no luck with macaroons either, must be a secret that we don't know about, Colleen.

Just make sure you have enough coconut, I just barely had enough, with 2 bags of the baker's delight. That is the kind my Nan used, she was the baker, made bread and rolls, pies, and never used a recipe. Me, no luck with a pie crust, I can go through a 20 lb bag of flour and not have a decent pie crust! So I just buy the pie!

I FINALLY have mastered the pie crust. It's a Paula Deen recipe, and it is fantastic. I think the key is keeping it cold! I never was a big pie fan before this ( I would eat the filling and leave the crust, lol, now I eat it all!!!) I am on the allrecipes.com site, I find the best recipes there, and everyone submits reviews so you know if it's good before you waste your time. At Thanksgiving, I found a sweet potato casserole, OH MY, I can feel cavities forming just thinking about it!
