I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia now for a year and a bit but have suffered since 2005 I have many other ailments
I feel for you. Are you taking antidepressants, too? Perhaps that will help your energy level some. I know that when I am down, all I want to do is just sit and stare. Not a very good way of living. Do you have a pet to distract you? I know you feel terrible, but sometimes taking care of someone else makes one feel like they are worthy of living. Our pets need us and in return, they provide a lot of love.
You are not alone.
Seenie from Moderator Support dropping by to say hello and welcome two new members, Anabst and fibrohelp! We’re so glad that you found us and I hope you are too. When I see a thread like this developing I get all mushy about Ben’s Friends: here we have two lovely people from different countries, sharing experiences and support. How amazing is that!
Handy hint time at BF Ranch: did you know that if you click on a person’s avatar, their public profile appears? Try it and read what they’ve shared about their disease and their lives. Fibrohelp and Anabst, you both have such lovely, complete profiles that I feel like I know you already. We get people who buck at being asked to share something about their disease experience and themselves, even if it’s done anonymously under a screen name, and with only a rough indication of their location. But I digress …
I hope that you both find the comfort and the support that you’re looking for here. Again, a warm welcome to you.

Yes, I already feel the warmth in this group.
I and others share your burdens. I’ve only recently been diagnosed with Fibro ( on top of depression and Post-traumatic arthritis in both wrist) and it’s tough. It’s hard to find joy when you are in constant pain, but it does help me that I have my little 4-legged son- Oscar
