Amazed how many people have heard about fibromyalgia, but even more baffled by those who haven't!

I have been blessed to have some friends that are so willing to find out what we go through on daily basis, which seems to help me feel recognized and not so alone. I also revert to "our home" - which is what I call this site, and my family knows that it's my go-to place daily when my body and mind allow. My daughter is so thankful that it is here for me, as well as a site where she has learned so much.

I want to share a beautiful hymn that I think we all can relate to. A good friend who used to teach where I work sent it to me this weekend. It was written by Shirley Murray and is called "Come and Find the Quiet Center."

I think we all can see ourselves in it - and probably have sung it at church. It may have been posted before....I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

"Come and find the quiet center in the crowded life we lead,

find the room for hope to enter, find the frame where we are freed.

Clear the chaos and the clutter, clear our eyes, that we can see

all the things that really matter, be at peace, and simply be.

In the Spirit let us travel, open to each other's pain,

Let our loves and fears unravel, celebrate the space we gain;

there's a space for deepest dreaming, there's a time for heart to care,

In the Spirit's lively scheming there is always room to spare!"

This is very good Sandi! Surely everyone can really relate to this! Thanks!
