Hello Everyone!
I am brand new to this group and stumbled across this site last night while researching a few different medications that my doctor suggested. She said that this drug can help with people have problems with their "sleep pathway" and apparently the dysfunctions causes sleep and mood problems. I may not have remembered that completely correctly but that is what I recall she said. She said it is not easy to get because it is so new but thought we could get it approved because of my diagnosis - if you have tried it - does it help with more restful sleep? Mood?
I already take a bunch of meds but besides Wellbutrin i dont take an antidepressant and she thinks I might want to add something. I might go back on Lexapro because that has helped in the past with both anxiety and depression but I am also considering trying this medication or Remeron is another medication she suggested I look into before we make any changes.
