Bilateral facet joint nerve injection

Aloha everyone. I was wondering if any of you ladies or men out there live in Honolulu? I found a new doctor to go to. His name is Phillip Lim, D.O., with Hawaii Spine Specialist. I was very impressed with him, the time he took with me, all the questions he asked, and, especially, all the different procedures he does. I am scheduled to get this bilateral facet joint nerve injection next week. I've had other injections before so I'm not afraid of that; it doesn't hurt, you just feel some pressure. I was wondering if anyone has had this procedure and how and if it helped you? If this helps me relieve my pain, I will be shouting it from the top of Aloha Tower. Those of you who live here know where that is! Any information would be greatly appreciated. Mahalo.

Hi Aloha, how are you girlfriend? I'm glad to hear that you are getting good results with this Pain Specialist. I had the facet injections years ago, they do not last long, not the ones I had anyway. It was determined by past x-rays that I have degenerative facet disease. My problem with all the injections was that they could never get me numb, or never took the time for me to get numb, so these just never worked out for me, but I certainly hope that they do for you.

For others unfamiliar with the facets, here is some info on them, they are the part of the spine that allow us to bend and twist.
