Cervical Radiculpathy

This is the diagnosis for the 'hump' on my upper spine, as far as what is presented on the order for the MRI of the C-spine, and here is the definition.

Geez, another pain maker. Not good. Maybe this can explain some of your terrible chest pain though, SK. I had no idea that pressure from compressed nerves could cause pain in all of these places. It doesn't seem fair; bodies should behave and not act up like this, especially when you still have many years left of living. And I don't quite see how the hump plays into this?

What does your doc recommend for treatment, SK? Whatever it is, I hope it helps.

Well, that's the million dollar question that I asked, he wants a look before responding. The upper spinal MRI is to look at this hump, and the lower one is to look at the stenosis. Surgery or implants are OUT, being on a biologic, he did not seem very positive about it for stenosis anyway. I told him that the Pain Management could never get me numb, he said that was just my make-up, not EDS, but a big problem. So the upper spinal hump is causing the numb hands and arms he thinks, but the stenosis and SI are the worst pain, and dysfunction for sure.

I go Tuesday for the MRIs see the Rheum end of this month, and the GP on 4-10, they both want to see me every 2 months now, so you know what that means! Oh well, I'm just very fortunate to have them both, wish I could share them with you Petunia Girl! Come on down!! I'm not too far from Johns Hopkins either, I was heading there when I found my present Rheum!

Boston is supposed to have some top notch Doctors Pet, where are they for you?
