Chiropractic care

I was thinking about purchasing a ten machine… Do you think it’s helpful?

It gonna take time

I found that my chiro helps I try to go at least 2x month think it is worth the cost

It is worth the cost to me to … Im gonna stick with it for now…

Hi Wendy, I got the same way, especially from the pain management shots, it's like they got the stress responses in high gear again. It took me a long time before anyone could touch me in any way. The less invasive treatments and tests are anymore, the better I am. I still do call on the DC when I get 'toruqued' and need straightening out, no one else can put my body straight like my Chiropractor, but it's alot like acupuncture, for best results, you have to continue on a regular basis!

Hi there! I have been going to a chiro. for about 2 years now. She is great. It also boosts your immune system. I find it helps with my TMJ a lot, and thankfully I do not get as much hip pain or lower back pain. My neck is still tricky…sometimes it helps and sometimes it is worse after I go.

I have had a great deal of success with a TENS machine when the pain is in a particular area. One thing to watch for is when the weather gets hot. When I sweat, the leads don't stick, so I have to use medical tape to secure them.

I am forbidden to use a chiropractor due to spinal conditions which could worsen, so I have to use other alternatives. The TENS helped me through neck pain, lower back pain, frozen shoulder, and more.

At one point I also tried acupuncture. It removed the pain, but I had to go twice a week and it got $$$. At least I own the TENS, and all I have to do is occasionally order leads (the things that stick to you).

I also have TMJ… Wow good to know it might help that too… Yes my chiro said it would help immune system too. Thanks for your input tiffyg77.

Thanks for helpful info on TENS machine… I will probably purchase one now … I know the tech said pads are cheap for it… Machine is $99 here is that good price?

Yes, that is a reasonable price. Make note of the type of leads it uses, and see if they are easily available, how much they cost, how long between order and delivery, etc. I keep some extra pads on hand so I never run out!

Thanks so much and I will make note of the things you me
ntioned.

Hope you get the relief your looking for! Gentle Hugs!

I am currently seen a great Chiro in Coronado, CA. I live in Bonita, CA (San Diego Area). I cannot afford to go more than 1 per week. I am considering buying a plan for unlimited visits. Its a drive, but the office is well run and you don't sit and wait for long periods of time. I have noticed some improvement, and I will continue to go as I have seen some results.

I’m glad ths you can get some relief. I love my chiro very professional including his staff. I need to ask about plans for unlimited visits. I’m currently going 3x a week.

Thanks! I’m taking one day a time. Believing for good results.
